Spread Saemaul Undong and lay the foundation for sustainable local development in developing countries by transferring Korea’s knowledge and experience in successfully promoting Saemaul Undong and creating a model for rural development

In connection with the creation of jobs driven by the government, the Foundation dispatches young people to Saemaul Model Villages that are under construction to provide them with quality jobs and opportunities to gain the practical career experience they need to grow into international development cooperation experts

Enhances understanding of Saemaul Undong among central and local government officials, villagers, and related institutions of countries, in partnership with the Foundation’s Saemaul Undong globalization projects, and induces program participants to actively participate in the projects

Foster the development of global Saemaul leaders and build a network by offering Saemaul Undong training and education, including instruction on the concept of and experiences promoting Saemaul Undong, to government officials and village leaders of developing countries and foreign students studying in Korea

Provides college students with opportunities to engage in Saemaul community services in overseas countries, fosters the next generation of Saemaul leaders by helping them cultivate global perspectives, and strengthens the brand value of Saemaul Undong on the international stage

Recruits volunteers at senior and junior levels, fosters their development as global Saemaul leaders, and dispatches them to developing countries to promote sustainable development by sharing Korea’s experience in promoting Saemaul Undong and transferring Korea’s knowledge and technology
